&lt;p&gt;The Copa America 2024 passes to the quarter-finals after &lt;a href=&#34;https://www.legaseriea.it/en/media/altro/the-curtain-rises-on-the-2024-copa-america-710890b&#34;&gt;an entertaining group stage&lt;/a&gt; full of surprises, starting with the hosts, the USA, being eliminated and Venezuela’s three wins in all three Group B games. It all went as planned for Scaloni’s Argentina who were spurred on by an unstoppable &lt;strong&gt;Lautaro Martinez&lt;/strong&gt;. On the other hand, Brazil had some issues and finished second in their group.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Many Serie A players have been involved with &lt;strong&gt;6 goals&lt;/strong&gt; being scored by players from our league at this stage. With the quarter-finals at our door and the competition reduced to 8 sides, there are still &lt;strong&gt;13 adopted Italians &lt;/strong&gt;in the tournament.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;GROUP A&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Argentina&lt;/strong&gt; didn’t disappoint and were the first team to qualify for the quarter-finals, winning their group with the maximum points tally, helped out by &lt;strong&gt;Lautaro Martinez&lt;/strong&gt;’s goals, current &lt;strong&gt;top goalscorer&lt;/strong&gt; at the competition with 4 goals. El Toro doubled the Albiceleste lead in his debut at the end of the game against Canada and he scored the decisive goal against Chile moments before the final whistle, once again coming off the bench. Qualification was secured against Peru, Martinez started the game and bagged a &lt;strong&gt;brace&lt;/strong&gt;, thus scoring in every group game for an incredible average of a goal once every 40 minutes. The Copa America campaign ends here for Chile and Sanchez.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;GROUP B&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Two Serie A defenders shone in Group B, both of them playing all 270 minutes of the group stage but meeting very different endings with their respective sides.
