Udinese and Roma separated by a point

Udinese and Roma, who sit next to each other in the table, are aiming for victory to ignite their European ambitions

Udinese are set to face Roma in a 15:00 CET kick-off at the Bluenergy Stadium.

For both sides, three points are needed to close the gap on the sides above them and put themselves in the fight for the European places. The hosts want to put their loss against Como behind them and move above the Giallorossi. To do this, they need a victory, something that has been missing for a month.

The visitors are hoping to escape midtable obscurity and could make it six games unbeaten. They’re aiming for their second consecutive win – something they haven’t achieved since the end of September – to continue to climb the table.

HEAD TO HEAD

Udinese have lost 54 of their 101 Serie A matches against Roma (W23 D24) and only against Juventus have the Friulians suffered more defeats (69) in the top-flight (Inter also 54).

Roma have won seven of their last nine matches against Udinese in Serie A (D1 L1), including each of the last four; the Friulians` only win against the Giallorossi in that period came back in September 2022 (4-0 at home).

Roma are unbeaten in 10 of their last 12 away matches against Udinese in Serie A (W8 D2), after losing three of the previous four (W1).
