PUMA and Lega Serie A today unveiled the official game ball for the 2024/25 winter season, which will be used in the Serie A, Coppa Italia Frecciarossa, and Primavera 1 competitions: the PUMA Orbita Hi-Vis Serie A.

PUMA's new Orbita ball is an exaltation of the uniqueness of one of the most loved and followed leagues globally, which counts among its ranks stars of the calibre of Theo Hernández, Christian Pulisic, Noah Okafor, Weston McKennie and Alessandro Bastoni.

PUMA and Lega Serie A thus want to celebrate the Italian league, sharing the spirit and passion of fans around the world. To create the new game ball for Lega Serie A competitions, PUMA was inspired by the emotional intensity that every football fan experiences when their favourite team is on the pitch.

In this version created specifically for the winter season, the PUMA Orbita Serie A features graphics with elements that recall the energy and passion of the Italian fans, which combines with the yellow base guarenteeing excellent visibility in all weather conditions. The ball also stands out with the 12 large star-shaped panels, with a reduced number of seams, to allow a better connection with the ball.

The FIFA Orbita Quality Pro uses state-of-the-art technology to create an optimal ball that maintains its shape and allows for less water absorption. POE foam is added to increase touch sensitivity, providing a firmer feel and better rebound consistency. In addition, the 1.2 mm textured 3D PU surface improves aerodynamics and makes the ball more resistant to abrasion and wear, increasing its durability. The ball also features a rubber bladder and a PAL (PUMA Air Lock) valve for optimal air retention and rebound.
