&lt;p style=&#34;text-align: justify;&#34;&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Robin Gosens&lt;/strong&gt; has won an important and prestigious personal award, i.e. the Public Award for the &lt;u&gt;“German Football Ambassador 2020”&lt;/u&gt;. The prize, the “Deutscher Fussball Botschafter Publikumspreises 2020”, is the result of the online preferences collected by the non-profit organization Deutscher Fussball Botschafter which promotes social and charitable initiatives and which every year chooses the German player who has shone the most during the football season through a public vote.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style=&#34;text-align: justify;&#34;&gt;Gosens was part of a selection of 11 of the best representatives of German football for both men and women, who were chosen by a special jury. At the end of the online voting, the Nerazzurri player – who is one of the protagonists of this season, having already scored 8 goals, – prevailed over Dzsenifer Marozsán (Ol. Lyon), Toni Kroos (Real Madrid), Lukas Podolski (Antalyaspor), Ann-Katrin Berger (Chelsea), Leroy Sane (Manchester City), Antonio Rudiger (Chelsea), Benedikt Howedes (Lokomotiv Moscow), Marko Marin (al-Ahli Dschidda), Pascal Gross (Brighton &amp;amp; Hove Albion) and Thilo Kehrer (Psg).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style=&#34;text-align: justify;&#34;&gt;Robin succeeds Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, winner of the 2019 edition, and inscribes his name alongside champions who have made the history of German and world football such as Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mesut Özil and Sami Khedira.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style=&#34;text-align: justify;&#34;&gt;&lt;em&gt;“I am very happy and proud of this award&lt;/em&gt; – Robin Gosens commented – &lt;em&gt;because it is a prize that is given to those who do something special and give prestige to German football in the world. To see the names that I have prevailed over this year, champions of the likes of Podolski or Kroos for example, or which preceded me in past editions, fills me even more with pride: it means that you are doing really well if many people have chosen your name. This award I see it as the fruit of the work done so far. The other thing that makes me particularly happy is that the vote came from the people: it means that many people love you and appreciate what you are doing.
