Udinese are looking to go four unbeaten against an improving Parma side

Ten points from the last four games (three wins and a draw) have seen Udinese stride into the top half of the table. The Bianconeri host Parma at 20:45 CET to see if they can really bring their European hopes to life. 

Parma won against Bologna last week, bringing a four-game losing streak to an end. These three points meant they escaped the relegation zone and they now sit two points above 18th place.

HEAD TO HEAD

Udinese are unbeaten in three matches against Parma in Serie A (2W, 1D), after suffering three defeats in a row against the “gialloblù” - the Friulians have not avoided defeat in four matches in a row against the Emilians in the competition since April 2012 - September 2013.

After winning the first meeting this season (3-2, 16 September 2024), Udinese could beat Parma in both league matches in a season in Serie A for the third time, after 1996/97 and 2005/06.

Parma have won two of their last three away matches against Udinese in Serie A (1L); Furthermore, the Gialloblù have scored against the Friulians in 11 away games in the competition, with an average of 1.9 goals scored per game.

Cristian Chivu won on his debut as a manager in Serie A (2-0 against Bologna): among coaches in Parma`s history, no one has ever won their first two matches in the competition.

Among players who have scored double figures in the league this season, Lorenzo Lucca is the only one who has not provided a single assist; after the goal in the first leg, Parma could become the first team against which the Udinese striker has scored in both games in a single Serie A campaign.

Ange-Yoan Bonny could score in two appearances in a row for the second time in Serie A, after doing so between last August and September, via a goal from a penalty against Napoli and a goal against Udinese - the 2003-born player has been involved in two goals (one goal, one assist) in the last three matches, after 10 appearances in a row without any goal involvement.
