&lt;p&gt;With less than two months to go until the start of the 2025/26 Serie A Enilive season, clubs are already hard at work preparing. As pre-season camps begin and the transfer market heats up, one constant remains: the head coach. Compared to last season, however, as many as twelve clubs have changed their man in the dugout, leaving just eight to continue with the same head coach as last season. Many of the new appointments, though, are names already well known to fans. The coach from Lecce has made history as the first manager to win the Italian top flight with three different clubs: Juventus, Inter and Napoli. His track record in Serie A is remarkable: in seven seasons, he has won the league five times, falling short only in his first season at Inter (finishing second) and during his stint with Atalanta.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now, he faces an even more enticing challenge: to consolidate his dominance at home and, above all, break a European curse. Neither he nor Napoli have ever progressed beyond the &lt;strong&gt;Champions League&lt;/strong&gt; quarter-finals. It’s a forward-looking appointment that’s firmly rooted in the Nerazzurri’s past. Chivu, who was part of Inter’s Treble-winning squad and made 115 Serie A appearances for the club, coached in the Nerazzurri’s &lt;strong&gt;youth setup&lt;/strong&gt;, starting out with the U14s and eventually winning the Scudetto with the &lt;strong&gt;Primavera&lt;/strong&gt; in 2022. After his first Serie A coaching spell with &lt;strong&gt;Parma&lt;/strong&gt;, who he led to safety in the second half of last season with three wins and seven draws in thirteen matches, Chivu took charge of Inter at the &lt;strong&gt;Club World Cup&lt;/strong&gt;, where the Nerazzurri were eliminated in the quarter-finals after topping their group. The honour and responsibility of taking up the mantle have been entrusted to &lt;strong&gt;Ivan Jurić&lt;/strong&gt;, a loyal protégé of Gasperini. A former &lt;strong&gt;Genoa&lt;/strong&gt; captain coached by Gasp himself, Jurić absorbed the tactical principles of his mentor during their shared spells at Inter and Palermo, where he acted as his assistant. As a coach, he has taken charge of Genoa, Verona, Torino and Roma in Serie A, achieving 75 wins in 249 games. After his Premier League experience, he is ready to make a definitive &lt;strong&gt;step up &lt;/strong&gt;with an established squad bolstered by new signings. In Bergamo, Gasperini wrote unforgettable chapters in the club’s history, taking the Nerazzurri into Europe’s elite and crowning it all with the Europa League triumph in 2024.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Now, he returns to a &lt;strong&gt;major club&lt;/strong&gt; with greater pressure, higher expectations and a very different atmosphere to that of Bergamo. The target is to guide Roma back into the top four and, perhaps, attempt another European run – particularly in a competition that has become something of an obsession for the Giallorossi following their penalty shootout defeat to Sevilla. With AC Milan, he won a Scudetto and qualified for the Champions League for four consecutive seasons – a track record that lends real &lt;strong&gt;credibility&lt;/strong&gt; to the Viola’s new project.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;While the ultimate dream for Fiorentina remains the Champions League, the real obsession is the &lt;strong&gt;Conference League&lt;/strong&gt;, which has agonisingly slipped from their grasp for three seasons in a row. During his first spell at Lazio, Sarri secured second and fifth-place finishes, with the Biancocelesti displaying flashes of the coach’s signature attractive football. Allegri spent three and a half seasons at AC Milan, achieving 74 wins in 133 Serie A matches and also securing the 2011 &lt;strong&gt;Supercoppa Italiana&lt;/strong&gt;. With six league titles to his name – five of them with Juventus – Allegri is the second most successful coach in Serie A history, behind only Giovanni Trapattoni (seven).
